County of San Diego – Edgemoor Skilled Nursing Facility

Overview

The Edgemoor facility for the County of San Diego is a two-story OSHPD skilled nursing facility, totaling 135,000 SF, providing long-term, 24-hour skilled nursing care for patients unable to be cared for by the private sector.

Mascari Warner Dinh Architects was selected to take over the construction administration for this project (with Carrier Johnson Architects) for the County of San Diego.

Our responsibilities on the project included interfacing with OSHPD and obtaining all OSHPD approvals, as well as being responsible for certain building systems. We had 1.5 people in the field for over the course of the 26 months of construction. We have experience in interpreting and understanding documents from another source, and understand how to aid the client in transitioning to a new architect.
